When we talk about vacations, we often hear names of some of the most famous destinations in the world such as Hawaii, London, New York, California, Paris, Switzerland, etc. However, there are a lot of other destinations in the world which are actually worth vacationing in.
Montenegro and Croatia
Montenegro is located in southeastern Europe and it is neighbored by Croatia to its west. Both the countries have long histories. If you want to experience the Mediterranean, then these are the countries which you should take your next trip to. You will be able to experience the Mediterranean climate with the cuisine and culture. Montenegro has a picturesque coast and is also blessed with mountainous regions in the north. This place also has curling rink and one can go on long stretches of cross-country ski trails. You may want to consider Barrier islands, which are located off the coast of South Carolina, if you are looking for spots that are closer to home. You can take beach vacations on islands like Fripp, Pawley’s, Edisto, etc. These islands still have a rustic feel about them and development has not touched these islands as much. These islands can be on your next summer destinations list.
Bequia, Caribbean
Bequia is an island in St. Vincent and Grenadines. These islands are enchanting and are located to the west of Barbados. For honeymooning, you may want to opt for these picturesque, serene island destinations. Your honeymoon can be marked with activities like scuba diving, sailing, swimming, fishing, etc., in the island.
Michigan
As compared to most other states in the United States, the entire state of Michigan has not be explored by tourists. One can take many a family holiday in this state.
